Set in one of Aberdeen's most sought-after locations, Treetops deserved kitchens that matched the quality of the homes themselves.
Rather than offering a fixed specification, Malcolm Allan chose to give every buyer a genuine design experience. Each homeowner was invited into the showroom to work one-to-one with our designers, exploring an extensive collection of British and European kitchen furniture, worktops, appliances and finishes to create a space tailored entirely to their lifestyle.
It's an approach rarely seen in new-build developments and one that reflects Malcolm Allan's commitment to customer experience.

The collaborative approach was particularly evident in the design of the Treetops showhome.
Working closely with Malcolm Allan and the site team, our designers created a kitchen that showcased the standard specification at its absolute best. The result became far more than a display kitchen, it helped define the lifestyle and character of the home, setting the benchmark for the entire development.
Behind every bespoke kitchen is careful planning. Wherever possible, existing services were retained, avoiding unnecessary alterations to plumbing, extraction, windows, doors and radiators. By designing intelligently within these constraints, we delivered highly personalised kitchens without compromising on quality, practicality or finish.
The design choices have evolved as buyers have made each home their own. Throughout 2025, Fjord Blue proved one of the most popular colours, while more recent selections have embraced warmer neutral palettes, with combinations such as Macchiato and Coffee paired with bronze detailing creating elegant, timeless spaces.
