Sadly, we lost our dear colleague and friend Judy Milne after her short battle with cancer in 2023. The team at Laings decided to clock up the miles to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care, by walking and cycling the equivalent of the North Coast 500 in Judy’s memory.
During September, the team commenced fundraising efforts racking up an outstanding 1,270 miles! We are happy to share that we raised a total of £5,408 which has been donated to Marie Curie Cancer Care. Marie Curie commented the following on the Laings team’s efforts: “Wow, what an achievement! Well done to everyone involved and thank you for supporting Marie Curie”
A huge thanks to all of the team for their contribution across the week of fundraising, and for each and every donation that we have received to spur the team on - we couldn’t have achieved this without you all.
We rounded up our week with a fundraising evening alongside Judy’s family - a great evening to remember such a special woman.
