Project Preparation

Order Placed

Once you’ve placed your order with us, your designer and the installations team will begin planning the next phase of your project.

Laings Installation Programme Published

Our installations team will contact you up to two weeks before the project build is due to commence. They will issue you with your Laings Installation Programme – a detailed schedule of works – which breaks down the installation process and provides an estimated onsite timeframe for each of the expert craftsmen who will be working on your job.

Fully Project Managed Installation Service

Every installation we undertake is fully project managed. After issuing you with your Installation Programme, our installations team will keep in touch with you throughout the build, providing you with regular updates and visiting your property to check the progress of the works.

Stage 2

Installation Phase

Commencement of Works

In this second phase, works commence and all the planning and preparation of phase one is put into action.

Continuous Project Updates

As outlined in phase one, our installations team will maintain close contact with you throughout the project, ensuring works progress in a timely manner and advising you of any unexpected delays.

In Flight Issue Resolution

We do everything we can to ensure every project is completed on schedule – that’s why we create a bespoke Installations Programme for every customer. However, there are occasions when delays do happen. These are usually the result of a requirement to undertake additional works, if an issue is discovered during the build, or goods arrive at our premises damaged or faulty. We will inform you of any issues as soon as they arise and rectify them quickly to avoid deadlines slipping too far.

Stage 3

Completion & After Care

Sign-Off Meeting

Once works are complete, your project manager will visit your property to sign-off your project and issue you with your Customer Care Pack – which includes operating instructions and manufacturing warranties. They will show you how to use any appliances you’ve installed and ensure you are completely satisfied.

Workmanship Warranty Signed and Live

We provide all our customers with a Six Year Limited Workmanship Warranty, so we are there for you long after your installation is complete.

Fully Project Managed Installation Service

As with any building works, minor defects and snagging issues can appear after an installation. Our customer services team are on hand to support you with any issues you encounter, working quickly to rectify them.
